Everest Base Camp Trek

The Everest region (Khumbu) is one of the most popular destinations for tourists in Nepal and it offers definitive adventure experience by taking you to the base camp (5,364m/17,598ft) of the highest peak (Mt. Everest) in the world, offering additional opportunities to experience the spectacular view of other peaks like Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Cho Oyu, Mt. Makalu and Ama Dablam. We will follow the ancient trails through small villages of Khumbu region. Most Sherpas under the age of fifty can at least understand basic English, and many speak it fluently. Everest Base Camp Trekking is one side trekking of Chola Pass Trekking where we will be following almost half route of Gokyo Lake & Chola Pass Trekking.we hike up to Kala Patthar (5,550m/18,204ft) for the best view of Mt. Everest. Other major highlights of this trek include stunning landscape, beautiful Rhododendron forest, glacial moraines, foothills, rare species of birds and animals, sunrise from Kala Patthar, the legendary Sherpas; their beautiful settlement, culture, tradition, festivals, dances, monasteries and not to be missed, their warm hospitality.We may see numbers of mountains world Mount Everest, Thamserku, Mt. Nuptse, Bancharo Peak, Pasang Lamu Peak, Mt. Amadamlam, Mt. Cholatse, Mt. Kangtenga, Mt. Tabuche and many more.

Everest Base Camp Trekking

The best times to visit are from the beginning of March to mid May and from the beginning of September to mid November. The winters are very cold and snow may make it difficult to travel higher than Tengboche. Summers, on the other hand, are wet, and the spectacular peaks are often lost in the cloud.This trek takes you to the altitude of 5,550m and some days require a 6-8 hour walking; therefore, any physically fit person having sound health can opt for this trek. Trekking in Everest offers you a lot to experience and it is sure that it’ll be your lifetime experience.

Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel
Day 02: Preparation of the trip, explore the town
Day 03: Fly to Lukla [2,850M / 9,350FT], trek to Phakding [2,650M / 8694FT]
Day 04: Trek to Namche Bazaar [3,440M / 11286FT]
Day 05: Acclimatization day in Namche Bazaar, explore around
Day 06: Trek to Tengboche [3,800M / 12,467FT]
Day 07: Trek to Dingboche [4400M / 14,435FT]
Day 08: Acclimatization day in Dingboche [4400M / 14,435FT]
Day 09: Trek to Lobuche [4,900M / 16,076FT]
Day 10: Trek to Gorakshep [5,130M / 16,830FT], hike to Everest Base Camp [5,316M / 17,440FT] and return back to Gorakshep
Day 11: Hike to top of the Kalapatthar [5,545M / 18,192FT] and trek to Pheriche [4,350M / 14,271FT]
Day 12: Trek to Tengboche [3,800M / 14,467FT]
Day 13: Trek to Monjo [2,835M / 9,301FT]
Day 14: Trek to Lukla [2,850M / 9,350FT]
Day 15: Fly to Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel
Day 16: Departure or extend your trip
