Ghale Gaun Trek

The Ghale Gaun trek is the perfect trek in which to experience the unique lifestyles of the Gurung (the world-famous Gurkha soldiers), along with panoramic views of snow-cappedmountains. Ghale Gaun trek is another unique cultural trekking route situated near Pokhara. Mainly Ghale Gaun and Ghan Pokhara villages of Lamjung Districts are the main settlement of this beautiful trekking route. The route splits from Khudi and leads to the beautiful, traditional village of Ghalegaun, which is located at an altitude of 2020meters above sea level. Traditional cultural practices are still followed by the locals during births, deaths, marriages and in other ritualistic activities.The lane of roads are stone paved and clean. One can feel peace and harmony when one will be there. These days everyone is praising the place and also in these few years Ghalegaun has developed tremendously and the home stay. It has attracted many foreign as well as the domestic visitors.
