Mardi Himal Trek

Mardi Himal Trek is a good alternative to escape away from crowded treks of Annapurna with stunning views and duration similar to Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek. Mardi Himal Trek is a relatively new trekking route in Annapurna region with spectacular views of the Annapurna Himalayan range. This mountain about 5200 meter from sea level is lying less than fifteen miles north of Pokhara valley. Mardi Himal is a lower trekking peak in Nepal.While trekking you will get splendid mountain views, cross sparkling rivers and walk through lush green terraced fields.We ascend through traditional villages and pristine oak and rhododendron forests to an alpine campsite that has an up-close view of Mount Machhapuchhre, Mardi Himal and Mount Annapurna,beautiful landscapes, peaceful villages and can experience the tour of nature. The great rice fields and the blue glaciers of the Annapurana sanctuary walls lie below the trail.The trek is not totally commercialized yet like other popular routes of Annapurna.
